REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Housing Authority of Salt Lake City 1776 South West Temple

Salt Lake City, Ut 84115 is seeking bids to provide landscape maintenance services for our properties located in Salt Lake City (attached)

SCOPE OF WORK

Mowing – Weekly mowing of all complexes to include picking up grass clippings

Line Trimming – Weekly

Edging– All complexes on a bi-weekly basis

Hard Edging - Monthly on all properties

Walkways – Blow off cut grass from sidewalks, parking areas and drives

Pick-Up – Pick up all trash prior to mowing

Special Conditions:

• Trim weeds in parking lots as needed
• Trim weeds on both sides of fence’s
• Weed flower beds at high rises and any properties discussed in walk through
• Notify Housing of all broken sprinkler heads including ones broken by mowers
• Report any excessive wet or dry spots immediately
• Schedule is to be submitted to Housing Authority (Contractor is to keep a weekly schedule)
• Housing Authority is to be billed bi-weekly for work completed
• Submit a price break down showing both the cost to service each individual property and a total weekly price for the services requested
• Guaranteed 26 weeks minimum
• Maximum 30 weeks
• Faultline property 1025 E 400 S will not include hill east of main driveway
• Weed and Feed application Freedom Landing property
• Contractor is to provide proof of insurance coverage

A preliminary walk through of the attached properties and scope of work will be on February 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.
